Art by Sheri Oneal
From the time I was introduced to finger paint and crayons, I wanted to create.
My father made unique furniture, rebuilt old cars, and built many of the houses I lived in growing up. My mother is a businesswoman, who introduced me to history through her antique store, is insightful, honest, expressive, and good with words. I combined those influences to manifest my own style.
My art starts with a simple idea, word, memory, photograph, or concept and is always deeply thought out. It takes on a life of its own once put into motion. I want each piece to be unique, dimensional, visually intriguing, and thought-provoking. It should invoke a story and allow the viewer to make it their own.
This site showcases my fine art photography, functional found decor, mixed media assemblages, and paintings!
