Welcome to Inspiration Avenue! I’m Sheri Oneal, an artist in Nashville, Tennessee. This is where I showcase my photography, functional found decor, assemblages, paintings, mixed media, fine art, and other creations!

My work starts with a simple idea, word, memory, photograph, or concept, and is always deeply thought out. It takes on a life of its own once put into motion. I want each piece to be unique, dimensional, visually intriguing, and thought-provoking. It should invoke a story and allow the viewer to make it their own.

From the time I was introduced to finger paint and crayons, I wanted to create. My father made unique furniture, rebuilt old cars, and built many of the houses I lived in during my childhood. My mother, a businesswoman, introduced me to history through her antique store. She is insightful, honest, expressive, and skilled with words. I combined those influences to manifest my own style over the years.
